dare to behold

DARE to BEHOLD is an invitation to look away from the things of the world and keep our eyes continually fixed on Jesus. It begins in the throne room of God, and confronts all kinds of things that plague our Christian life: the desire for “easy, always positive” faith, struggling to let go of secret sin, preferring the things of the world, the FEAR of the holiness of God... I’m done pretending that God’s love for me requires little sacrifice of my desires or that following Jesus is a breeze. It’s not. My hope for these songs is that we stop playing games and move past shallow faith toward deep, mature trust in our LORD.

I am currently in the process of releasing this album. The first six singles are available with the rest to follow Spring 2024.

exhale a
reverent song.

This collaboration with Verses features John 15:5 verbatim. I love Verses’ commitment to bring the Word of God to life by releasing verbatim scripture songs and was honored to be able to partner with them to create this track.

My debut solo project, HOW LONG / how lovely, tells two sides of my COVID faith life: a period of feeling distant from God & a new season of being overwhelmed by the nearness of His Presence.

With names pulled from Psalms 13 & 84, respectively, HOW LONG / how lovely, I see these songs as melodic conversations with God that invite others to ask questions, gather close, and discover afresh the One who holds all things together.
